Lawsuit Pursued by Affected Patients of Avaulta Vaginal Mesh

Vaginal mesh was created to be a low-risk solution for a number of women who were undergoing a life-altering pain related to pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and stress urinary incontinence (SUI). However, it allegedly causes health risks and complications: Vaginal mesh surgery became a popular procedure when companies like C.R. Bard introduced Avaulta. Avaulta is one of the many brands of a surgical mesh product used for implantation in the vaginal wall to provide support to the pelvic organs.

The design was centered on a form of surgical mesh that has been used to make the abdominal muscles stronger of patients who have hernias. Sadly, the idea of vaginal mesh was better on plans than in reality. Thousands of women underwent vaginal mesh surgery only to sustain permanent injuries.

Some complications of Avaulta vaginal mesh include perforation of the bladder, internal bleeding in the pelvic region, and pain during urination and sexual intercourse.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA has not yet recalled any vaginal mesh devices, but it recommends that women should weigh the good and the harm of the surgery. The FDA advised that women should ask their physicians regarding other ways to treat their vaginal problems.

A number of law groups advise that those who have been affected by Avaulta vaginal mesh devices and surgeries have the legal right to demand compensation from the manufacturers. Additionally, the affected patients of the Avaulta vaginal mesh dangers are qualified to file similar legal action. Therefore, the victims should seek legal advice for them to be guided accordingly.

An Avaulta vaginal mesh lawsuit allows women who are experiencing bladder complications the opportunity to get settlements from mesh manufacturers that will help cover their  medical bills, pain and suffering and other damages resulting from their mesh surgery complications.
